Gentle Yoga is a slower-paced and less strenuous style of yoga with a focus on improving balance, strength, range of motion and flexibility - areas that everyone can benefit from, especially as we age. This style of yoga can be beneficial for anyone recovering from injuries or other fitness limitations. By using variety of props, it provides many options for poses, allowing each student to progress and gradually make changes as required. In addition to the movement of yoga, there are also elements of mindfulness and breath control that helps to reduce stress and relax the body.

 

Gentle Yoga (Private sessions)

Private gentle yoga sessions will be fully customized to your body and your goals. Regardless of your age, weight, fitness or experience with yoga, sessions will be tailored to increase your flexibility, balance, and strength. (Small Group sessions are also available.)

 

Yoga for Golf and Tennis

These sessions are designed to help improve your flexibility, strength and balance - all important for both sports. Imagine having more flexibility and strength on your serves and backhands. Imagine having increased flexibility and power to hit the golf ball farther and be able to control your breath to calm your nerves when standing over a putt. (Available for private and small group sessions.)

 

Yoga/Wellness

These sessions are Gentle Yoga sessions combined with wellness tips, nutrition information and recipes. These sessions will focus on common health topics such as: sleep, bone health, menopause, stress, and more. These combo sessions are designed to create movement, mindfulness and food to help with everyday minor issues that can help improve your quality of life. If you have any serious health concerns, please see your doctor first before beginning any exercise routines. (Available for private and small group sessions.)
