A little spin on chocolate mousse....it is made out of avocados! Sounds weird, I know, but it is a healthier way to have chocolate mousse.
Avocado health benefits: It is the healthy fat that helps lower LDL and raise HDL cholesterol, great source of potassium, fiber, and contains vitamins great for your eyes and bones.
Cocoa Powder health benefits: make sure it is unsweetened and it is a great quality of cocoa powder by reading the ingredient label. Cocoa offers a high level of antioxidants which helps to protect our bodies.
Ingredients
- 2 each avocado
- 2 TBSP fresh lemon juice
- 2 TBSP unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 TBSP honey
Servings: people
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients in a food processor and serve. Optional, top with good quality chocolate (70% or greater)
