Ingredients
- 2 cups steel cut oats
- 1 cup chocolate or vanilla whey protein powder
- 1/4 cup almond or oat flour
- 1 tbsp flax seed, ground
- 1 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup honey try to get fresh local honey
- 2 each ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Grease 8x8 pan with coconut oil
- Mix the oats, whey, almond or oat flour and flax seed. Once combines, add almond butter, applesauce vanilla and honey.
- Mash the bananas into the mixture and combine. (note: I like to mash mine first and then add to the mixture for a smoother texture.)
- Pour batter into the pan and bake about 15 minutes.
- Cut to your desired sized. Since these are packed with protein, a little goes a long way so I like to cut into 18 or 36 pieces, so much smaller than the typical brownie size.
